Five beliefs shape every classroom
Education beyond classrooms
Field trips, community projects and sport make lessons real.
Activity-based learning
Experiments and projects turn concepts into experience.
Stress-free learning
Children grow at their own pace and ask questions without fear.
Morality in practice
Honesty, empathy and responsibility, lived daily rather than memorised.
Inclusive education
Every background, ability and learning style is welcome.

Languages
English is the medium of instruction on all IES campuses. Students learn both Hindi and Odia from Class I to VIII, then choose one of the two for Classes IX and X.
Learning by doing: an example
In 2026, Commerce students made and sold handmade rakhis, then built a formal cost sheet — separating direct and indirect costs to work out the cost per unit.
